At the just ended UN Women’s conference CSW62, I had the opportunity to make an intervention on behalf of Youth Bridge Foundation at a High Level interactive dialogue on Building alliances to achieve gender equality and empower rural women and girls. In my submission I made mention of the need for effective collaboration between governments, private sector organizations (through corporate social responsibility budget), development partners, CSOs and traditional authorities; how such partnerships can contribute to the empowerment of rural women and girls in Africa giving examples of some good results achieved.
