I participated in the sixty-second session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW62), a UN Women conference in New York where women leaders and activist from all over the world gather to discuss women issues. This year the theme was “Challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and the empowerment of rural women and girls”. Representing my country Ghana, Youth Bridge Foundation, Princess Sekyere Mission and The Intelligent Lady, I have the opportunity to share our work with women and adolescent girls in basic and Senior high Schools and their challenges.
